To the Honorable Commissioners to quit land title, &c, &c
Gentlemen, I herewith beg to lay before you my claim to a certain lot or piece of land, situated in the village of Honolulu, formerly owned by Luther Wright, of whom I am the lawful heir, being his son.

I enclose for your information, the title given originally to my father by Mr. French, together with a plot of the land.

The lot is situated just across the street from the premises of Mr. Stephen Reynolds; and is familiarly known as Duncan's Blacksmith Shop. Whenever it may suit your convenience to take up the case I shall be pleased to appear before you with such testimony as I can gather to make good my claim.

As I am young & inexperienced in such matters you will please excuse my ....

.... 837). He bought this piece of property at that time from Wright and I have heard French saying that this place had been acquired by Wright, but French had been living there previously. Another proof for this property would be the land conveyance document. Wright died in the year 1843 and he has three living children, two daughters and one son. Wright has lived on that property since the death of his father to this day.

The boundaries are: Bancrob's (Bancroft) lot, mountainside
a forked road, Waikiki
the junction of this (Waikiki) road with the road from Kuakua's place, oceanside
the road from Kuakua's place, Ewa.

The land conveyance document was issued on the first day of Nov. 1837 and was recorded in the government record in the month of November 1847.
