Greetings to the Land Commissioners: As directed by the law, therefore I hereby tell you of my house lot claim at Honolulu.
This place was given me by the Road building supervisor because of losing my former place to the Government Road. I have lived here peacefully until the present time. Everything within this lot belongs to me. and its boundaries are shown on the diagram which is sent herewith.
I am with thanks, your obedient servant.

Maau's lot, Kahonu's lot, Ewa and
a small street in the center of Waiaha's property is on the mountainside.
It was I who had given this place to Koloa with the approval of M. Kekuanaoa in the year 1838, and he has lived in peace since then to the present time. This had been a road just before I had given it to Koloa. Two houses are there which I had carried myself and erected on this place."
Puunipaku, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property and all things are just as Kekuapanio has related here."
