[listed as 835!]
Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my claim for my house lot at Honolulu on the north side of the Estuary. It is bounded on the north by an irrigation ditch, on the east by the lot of Kapuaalelepa, on the south by the lot of Wahine and of Solomon Kumuhonua, on the west by the land of Keikei. I began to occupy this place during the lifetime of Kamehameha II. I was given this place by Holokualani. I have held this place peacefully with no objections to this very time. My two houses are in the lot and it was I who made the fence.
I also have three taro patches, they are all together, at Kamakela in Honolulu; the sweet potato patch of Kuheleaumoku adjoins the makai side.
I also have two taro patches at Kamakela uka /upper/, at a place called Kumuhau adjoining Kauluwela. I have held these taro patches peacefully under the konohiki, with no objections.

Poola, sworn, I am a native of Kaliu, but I have known Paele's two patches in upper Kamakela in Honolulu district.
The boundaries are:
Mauka, land of Kaiewe
Waikiki, land of Puahiki
Makai, land of Ua
Ewa, new government road.
He had received these two patches from Holokualani during the reign of Kamehameha I, where he has lived comfortably to the present time. No one has objected. There is no Friday patch there.
Kaiwi, sworn, Poola's report is true. I have known similarly and he has lived comfortably to the present time. No one has objected.
