In the matter of the settlement of the boundaries of the land of Keawanui, Island of Molokai

Honolulu, April the 30th 1902

Proper application having been made to me, April 8, 1902 by F.S. Dodge for the trustees under the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop for the settlement of the boundaries of Halawa, Island of Molokai.

After due notice in the P.C. Advertiser and Kuokoa newspapers and also notice as far as known to the adjoining owners.

Hearing at Honolulu, April 30th 1902

F.S. Dodge appeared for the Bishop Estate. S. Mahaulu for the Government and J.F. Brown for the land of Keopukaloa.

F.S. Dodge filed a map and the notes of Keawanui made by M.D. Monsarrat and approved by W.D. Alexander, Surveyor General and asked to have the boundaries settled according to said map and notes of survey.

M.D. Monsarrat stated that he had made the map and notes of survey of Keawanui presented by F.S. Dodge from information of old kamaainas on the ground and also adjoining surveys and believed the same to be the correct boundaries.

S. Mahaulu on the part of the Government did not oppose said map or notes and there being no other ....
