In the matter of the settlement of the boundaries of the land of Honouli maloo, Island of Molokai

Honolulu, April 30th 1902

Proper application having been made to me, March 19, 1902 by J. Kalanianaole, Vice President of the Kapiolani Estate, Limited, for the settlement of the boundaries of Honouli maloo, Island of Molokai.

Due notice having been given in the Hawaiian Gazette and Kuakoa newspapers and also notices as far as known to the adjoining owners.

Hearing at Honolulu, April 30th 1902

J.F. Brown appeared for the Kapiolani Estate, Ltd, also for King Estate land of Moakea, also ¾ interest in Lupehu and lease hold of balance, also lease hold of Honouliwai.

J.F. Brown for Kapiolani Estate filed M.D. Monsarratt's notes of survey &c of the land of Honouli maloo and asked to have boundaries settled by said notes &c.

M.D. Monsarrat stated that he had made the map and survey of Honouli maloo according to the evidence of Kamaainas on the ground and adjoining surveys and believe, the survey to be the correct boundaries of Honouli maloo.

J.F. Brown made no opposition to the survey as representing adjoining owners and there being no person ....

South 45° 8' East true 546.6 feet along Land Commission Award 6289 to Kaneeleele, Land Commission Award 4687 to Lawelawe and Land Commission award 6288 to Kealohanui, all in Honouliwai to a long stone at old road called Pohakuloihi, and marked thus +; from this stone the Government [page 64] Survey Station Mokuhoonihi ears North 59° 55' East true, Lupehu Station North 44° 6' East true, and Kumimi South 41° 34' West true, thence
26. South 29° 00' East true 190 feet along Honouliwai down pali to a rock marked + on makai side of Government road at sea at a place called Koamanini;
27. Thence along sea coast to initial point, the direct bearing and distance being North 40° 20' East true 4860 feet
