The undersigned having come into possession of the estate of Her late Highness Ruth Keelikolani respectfully represents that the Ili of Kaelepulu in Kailua Koolaupoko was Awarded to Victoria Kamamalu in Land Commission Award No. 7713 by name without Survey and that the Boundaries of the same have never been settled.

The adjoining land are the Ili of Kaipolia, Kaioa, Oloapapa [Alaapapa], Pahehee, Kawainui, Oinoni [Ainoni], and one half of the Ili of Kaulu which belong to the Ahupuaa of Kailua Land Commission Award 4452 to H. Kalama, now owned by Mrs. Nannie Brewer, the Ili of Kawailoa and the Ahupuaa of Waimanalo, which belong to the Crown the remaining undivided half of the Ili of Kaulu, Mahele Award 44 to Kalaau, now owned by Kauakahoa, the Ili of Keolu, Grant 2909 by survey to Thomas Cummins, The ili of Puoakea, Grant 312 to Kapahi, now owned by Kauakahoa, the Ili of Kapakapa, Grant 1932 to Kamanu, the Ili of Kuailima, Grant 967 to S.P. Miki,Apana 4, now owned by heir of Edwin H. Boyd, the Ili of Kuukaeo, Grant 722 to Piiapoo, now owned by Puapoo heir [page 87] and Maunawili Grant 181 to Mr. William Jarrett, now owned by heirs of E.H. Boyd as shown in the map herewith enclosed.

Your petitioner claims that the survey herewith enclosed is a correct description of the land of Kaelepulu by metes and bounds, and respectfully asks that a day and an hour be appointed for hearing the case that all parties interested may have due notice and that the certificate of boundary as by law provided be issued to your petitioner

Proper Application having been made to the undersigned Chas. R. Bishop for the settlement of the boundaries of the Ili of Kaelepulu in Kailua, Koolaupoko, Island of Oahu.Notice is hereby given to allow all owners of adjoining lands and to all persons interested in the settlement of said boundaries that the said matter will come on for hearing at my office Merchant Street Honolulu, on Friday the 23rd day of May at 1 o'clock p.m.

Thence following along the top of the ridge to an iron pin bearing in a true straight line

Thence South 2° 50' East true 2093 feet to a point at the foot of the pali called "Pali Kea;"
Thence following along the foot of the Pali (Pali Kea) to a point or the boundary of Waimanalo, bearing in a straight line North 89° 34' East 2088 feet;
Thence following along the top of the ridge called "Aniani Nui" the boundary of Waimanalo back to the point of Commencement.
