To the Lawrence McCully, Esquire, Commissioner of Boundaries for the First Judicial Circuit, to wit, the Island of Oahu, Hawaiian Islands.
The petition of John D. Robinson, Executor of the Estate of Peter J. Mellish, deceased, and guardian of the Estate of Rebecca Mellish, a minor, devisee, of Honolulu, Island of Oahu, Hawaiian islands, respectfully represents as follows:
That the said Peter J. Mellish, deceased, did bargain and buy from Puwaina, wahine (who inherited from Maluaikoo, her husband, deceased) by deed dated the 28th day of July A.D. 1871 and recorded in the Registry Office in Honolulu, in Liber 32 on pages 392 and 393, the land of Kaliulalo in Honolulu, Island of Oahu, aforesaid and bounded as follows:
Commencing at the East corner of this lot runs South 49° 30' West by Lupo 90 feet, return again to place of commencement, run North 43° west 145 4/12 feet by Malaea's lot ....

Office of the Commissioner of Boundaries of Oahu
In the matter of the application of John D. Robinson, Guardian of the property of Miss Rebecca Mellish for the settlement of a portion of the boundaries of Kaliu, Kona, Oahu.
Proper application having been made as above said and notice having been given to all parties concerned, the matter came on to be heard at the Court House in Honolulu on the 26th day of August 10, 1873 and upon the proofs taken, I find the boundaries of the said lot as follows, viz. Kaliulalo in Honolulu,
Commencing at the Loko of Niupaipai and running
North 49° 30' South by Lupo 90 feet thence
North 43° West 145 4/12 feet by Malaea's lot; thence
South 46° West 92 ½ feet by Kapahukepau's lot; thence along the said Loko to point of commencement, and containing 27/100 acre.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my had at Honolulu this 28th day of August A.D. 1873
