To the Land Commissioner for Land titles, &c.; Gentlemen:
I desire to make known to your Honorable Board that I hold three lands in the Island of Oahu.
1. No. 1 a town allotment in the town of Honolulu, well known as my place of residence for many years.
2. No. 2. A land called Niu, in the district of Kona and
3. No. 3 a land in Kalihi, also in the district of Kona.
The two first named were given to me by His Majesty, Kamehameha Ist, and the last was given by the Regent, Kaahumanu, for services rendered to the King and Government of the Islands during a long period.
The papers respecting my claims as presented to the late British Commission, have since been deposited at the British Commission and will be laid before you for examination when required; and should further testi ....

.... t he had received this land from Kamehameha and by the same token that he had been given it because he was the konohiki of this land. He has it now and he is living there with attendants under him.
Kekuanaoa, sworn by the Word of God and stated, I have seen A. Adam's property. It is in Honolulu here which he had received from the chief in the year 1822 and he is now living there. He had been given this land because of his work. It has a fence and the fence that is standing is a sure boundary.
There is taro land also in Waikiki called Ohiu. The reason for his receiving this land is the same as for that (other land) and the same also for the years.
The boundaries are identical with those which John Ii has just stated here. He has been a konohiki from the beginning. There also is a lele, Waiala by name; however I have not known the boundaries.
