Certificate of the boundaries of Hookena, District of South Kona, Island of Hawaii 3rd Judicial Circuit
Upon the application of Her Royal Highness R. Keelikolani per F.H. Harris, attorney at Law and by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, as sole Commissioner of Land boundaries for the Island of Hawaii, 3d Judicial Circuit, I hereby decide and certify the boundaries of the Ahupuaa of Hookena, situated in the District of South Kona, Island of Hawaii, to be as hereinafter set forth.
Given under my hand at Hilo, Hawaii, this Fourteenth day of June, A.D. 1874,

Boundaries of Hookena
Commencing at large rock on coast, line of Kauhako and running
1. North 26° East 11.64 chains to top of pali;
2. North 52° East 3.10 chains along Clark´s land;
3. North 61° East 12.60 chains;
4. North 69° 15´ East 5.60 chains; [page 225]
5. North 70° East 16.70 chains;
6. North 81° East 155.00 chains to mauka corner of Kauhako;
7. South 83°[?] East 445.00 chains along Kalahiki and to Kahuku;
8. North 3° East 150.00 chains to line of Kealia 2nd, (Kamaka water hole bears North 9° East [?] from here 4000 chains; thence along line of Kealia 2nd to sea coast as follows:
9. South 86° 30´ West 460.00 chains to lower edge of woods;
10. South 72° West 137.00 chains;
11. South 57° 36´ West 45.70 chains;
12. South 39° 30´ West 42.00 chains to sea coast. Line runs through line put on N. side of churches:
13. South 33° East 16.00 chains along sea coast to point of commencement, containing an area of 5,756 acres more or less
