.... with me on the 16th day of May 1873, by J.O. Dominis, Administrator of the Estate of M. Kekuanaoa, by his attorney, F.H. Harris, in accordance with the provisions of an Act to facilitate the settlement of Boundaries; now, therefore having duly received and heardall the testimony offered in reference to the said boundaries, and having endeavored otherwise to obatin all information possible to enaqble me to arrive at a just decision, which will more fully appear by reference to the records of this matter by me kept in book No. A, pages 245 & 246 and Book B, pages 121-123 and Book D, pages 205-209 and it appearing to my satisfaction that the true, lawful and equitable boundaries are as follows, viz.:

Beginning at a rock marked "KP" on the beach at a place called "Kapili," and where the house used to stand is called "Keawehalu," the obundary between honokane and Pololu, from which point the Government Survey Station "Makanikahio" bears North 74° 23' East 2450 feet; thence the boundary runs mauka over a low sand ridge and up a point of the pali; following notes of survey of land of Pololu, Certificate of Boundaries, No. 14 [13], South 6° 00' East Magnetic 884 feet to Puhalal tree marked X; thence up along the pali near the brow of it [page 94]

South Magnetic 13.20 feet to place called Kupuhau[?]
South 5° 00' East magnetic 924 feet
South 13° 00' West magnetic 246 feet
South 16° 00' East magnetic 891 feet to Kahuapau;
South 12° 00' West magnetic 1320 feet to Keikepuaa;
South 17° 00' West magnetic 1320 feet to Kahinai;
South magnetic 792 feet to end of Ili of Pololu called Koa; thence over hill named "Puukana,"
South 20° 00' East magnetic 1320 feet to Kaohumaunu;
Soutn 8° 00' West magnetic 1914 feet to point on high ridge coered with trees; thence along a sharp narrow ridge dividing the two palis;
South 17° 30' East magnetic 1278 feet
South 11° 00' West mangetic 1518 feet to a large Ohia tree marked "K" at a rock marked "X" at a point called Kaneaa" at the corner of Pololu and kehene 2nd on the Honokane pali, right at the brow of the pali; thence along alnd of Kehena 2nd, certificate of Boundaries No. 17;
South 6° 00' East magnetic 5280 feet along brow of pali;
South 21° 30' West magnetic 4884 feet along brow of pali to a small hill known as "Kilohana" rock on a ledge marked "K," thence along lands of Kahualiilii and Kahua nui;
South 20° 04' West True 5980 feet to Puulaau (Puuwau) at junction of this land with Kawaihae 2d; thence along Kawaihae;
South 65° 40' East True 13300 feet to corner of this land, Kawaihae and Awini, Thence along Awini;
North, True, 14000 feet to corner of Homestead Lots,
North 8° 10' West, True 11800 feet to Northwest corner of Homestead Lots, the stream being the boundary;
South 77° 30' East True, 800 feet along Homestead Lot #1;
North 5° 30' west Magnetic 1683 feet along Grant 2497;
North 9° 00' West Magnetic, 1914 feet along Grant 2497;
North 4° 00' West Magnetic 1633 feet along Grant 2497;
North 21° 45' East, Magnetic 2812 feet along Grant 2497 to the sea; thence along the sea shore to the initial point and containing an area of 5410 acres. [page 95]

It is therefore adjudged, and I do hereby decide and certify that the Boundaries of the said land of Honokane are, and hereafter shall be as hereinbefore set forth.
