The Ahupuaa of Punaluu, District of Kau, island of Hawaii, 3d Judicial Circuit
On this the 15th day of October A.D. 1873, the Commission of Boundaries for the Island of Hawaii, 3d Judicial Circuit met a the Court House in Waiohinu, Kau, on the application of J.O. Dominis, Administrator of the Estate of Kamehameha V for the hearing of the testimony in regard to the settlement of the boundaries of Punaluu, District of Kau, Island of Hawaii aforesaid.
Due notice personally served on owners or Agents of adjoining lands, as far as known.
Present: J.G. Hoapili for applicant, and J. Kauhane for the Hawaiian Government

Testimony
Maholo, kane, sworn (same witness as on Mohokea). Punaluu and Moaula join at Kukuikaloa, an old cultivating ground; where these two lands cut Mohokeanui, kai off. From thence the boundary of Punaluu runs mauka along the gulch to the branches of the kahawai, at Kalepohelelei. This boundary of Punaluu from shore to Kukuikaloa is along the kahawai along Mohakeaiki and Mohoheanui; ....
