.... been released from the land, I had not seen this but they had filed the claim and Keoni had returned the land before 1848. My husband and I still had the land in 1848 and in that same year we were separated from the land, therefore we did not see the filing of this claim. It was passed - the land was awarded to the king, Waiwaiole had no land.
