Greetings to the Land Commissioners: We testify as to the claim to our house lot in Honolulu. The survey has been completed and its boundaries are shown on the diagram which accompanies this. This is an old interest, from the time of Kamehameha I. We sailed from Hawaii. My kahu was living here in the Russian /place/ and I also lived at this place.
When the retainers of Pauahi came, it was I, Kekuhaupio, who received them, to live here under me and my kahu. Liholiho's retainers, also, were my guests. I went with Liholiho ma when they went and my people stayed at this place and the houses which we occupy are mine. When Kinau was living I went and lived at my makuahine's place. I did not think of relinquishing this place, I left my people here, and also my houses stood here.

Kamaka, sworn by the Bible and stated, I have seen this place. It is in Honolulu here. The boundaries are as follows:
Makai, street
toward the sea, Kinimaka's place
Ewa, a pond
Kaahumanu and Kaihiwa's lots, Waikiki.
Kekuhaupio had received this place during Kaahumanu I's reign. It is enclosed with three houses and Kekuhaupio is living on this place to this day." Kaiakaiulani. "I have not know that anyone has objected to him. The third house that is standing there is for Kahaleohia because he is a land possessor."
