Waiapuka is the name of the Ahupua`a and Pakai is the name of the `ili. I have 17 small taro lo`i in my farm there. It was from Kekuanaoa to John Ii, and from Ii to my makuakane, Hana, and from him to me, on his death. I have held that farm for fifteen years. Kukuihaa is a certain `ili where I have three lo`i. It was from Kuakini, junior, to Maina, and from Maina to me. I have held this land 10 years. Kiei is an `ili within there where I have six lo`i, from Maina, with those lo`is at Kukuihaa.
