Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my claim for land at Kapaeli in Nuuanu, Island of Oahu.
That place was given me by Maluaiko in the time when Liholiho was living. The boundaries are as follows: on the mauka side, Palikea; on the south side, land of Kaelemakule; on the west, lot of Mr. Skinner; on the north, land of Keauiaole.
When I got this place, it was only weed-grown everywhere and I made the patches and planted the food and that place has been left with me to this time. There are seven patches ....

Kalelemakule, sworn by the bible and stated, "I have seen this properpty that is for Pi.
The boundaries are:
My moo land is on the Waikiki side
Kapahuluhulu, toward the sea
Keaniaole's lot (he is the konohiki), Ewa and
Palikea, a land is toward the mountain.
Pi had received this land during Poki's time from Maluaikoo, the konohiki and he had received it from Poki. Pi has lived here since that time to this very day and no one has over objected to him.
