Honorable President of the Land Commissioners, William Richards, Greetings: Because the Mo`i has directed those with claims to tell of their rights, therefore I tell you of my interest in the land of Liholiho in the grassland at Pawaa. That is the place I occupy. The diagram below will show you, the commissioners, the dimensions of the place where I live.

.... same lot in Honolulu here, makai of Beretania St.; and Pale stated, "The claim in the first testimony was included in my interest. However, on this day, I am returning Solomon's interest for his own son, Kapahikepau by name, for him to have forever and this will not be with me. This land was received /by him/ at the same time I had acquired mine."
Therefore, the land commissioners have decided to select J. Ii to properly instruct the surveyor because of the agreement they had made with Pale, to have the land surveyed so one can be separated from the other and finally grant each with a certified document.
