There are some taro lo'i, and a cultivated kula, for you to designate and verify. my right was acquired from the time of Kaumualii until the year 1848. my land claim is at Waipa. The witnesses are: Kupihea, Kaonohikau, Kaukana.

Koolau by Waipa river.
The loko Popoiko is for the Konohiki and is in Paauki's care. All other lois were from his brother-in-law, Kaukana in 1845.
Makanui, sworn, he has seen his lands in Waipa just as Pepee has related. He has three lois and the four loi is for the Konohiki, he has the care of it only.
