Gentlemen: I take the present occasion to lay before you for adjudication, agreeably with the laws, the following claims to land.
1st. I claim a piece of land in Waikiki called Pawaa. It was given me in 1839 by the King, through Kaikeoewa, who offered it to me of his own accord, as a reward for my services rendered to his Majesty as Physician. The only witness to the gift that I know of now living is George Sandwich. I have been in possession ever since I received the land. It consists of 1st kalo land in the valley of Makiki adjoining John Ii's land; and extends quite across the little valley. There are one or two tenants on the kalo ground, placed there by myself.

John Ii, sworn by the Word of God and stated, "My testimony for G.P. Judd's property is the same as George's testimony just given here. The boundaries are as follows:
Waikiki Street is on the Ewa side
The government site, toward the mountain, also my patches and the coconut grove belonging to Kuakuaaka. This place has been enclosed with two houses in it and some coconut (trees) also. There is a lele also in the upland of Makiki;
A stream on the Waikiki side
Kauliokamoa's land, toward the mountain
Manoa Street, Ewa and Keawehano's land is on the oceanside.
This is a taro land. There are three koele* patches and many more for the common people."
