To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell of the claim for my house lot at Kaliu in Honolulu. This interest was founded in the year 1832, which was when I began to live on this land, when I also acquired this little kula.
Our konohiki at that time was Pehu and this place has been left with me until this time.
The survey has been completed and the diagram is sent herewith.

Ewa, a stream from Pauoa.
I had given this land which I had received from Kaniua to Liaikulani at the time of Liholiho.
Kapu, sworn by the Bible and stated, "My testimony on Liaikulani's property is similar to the one just given by Pehu on everything about this claim. No one has ever objected to the present time."
