To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: Makuku has two `ili, two kula planted in sweet potatoes, 65 pali wauke, 3 pali wahie /steep place for firewood/, 1 amau oopu* and the stream for this, which is for me, from Awawalu to Kahaoloa. On the west is one house lot and the pig enclosure. Those are my claims which were from my makuas, when Kamehameha I was the ruler. In the `ili of Kahaoloai is a mo`o and a stream. On the east is the sweet potato kula which is for me. In the mo`o of Imiimi is a small `ili /patch/. On ....
