N.T. 423v2
No. 631, Lanai (S. Reynolds), December 13 [1847]
G. Wood, sworn by the Word of God and stated, "This property is in Honolulu here between my place and the church of the French people. I had given this place to Lanai on May 1, 1844. Poki had given it to me and my heirs in 1826. I had it enclosed and had built some houses in there. I had always lived there until the time I had sold it to Lanai with the approval of the governor, as this bill of sale indicates I have not known of any other claimant there."
