M. Kekuanaoa, sworn, says he knows the kalo patch in Kahookane, Honoluu aina, claimed by Kapoli.
It is bounded:
Mauka by the konohiki
Waikiki side by the stream [illegible] patches
Makai by the konohiki
Ewa side by the watercourse.
Claimant received this patch from me about 1834, and holds it at the ....

.... on by a man called Kahiole, for Kapoli. Mohoula was a Luna of "Kahookane" under Namauu & had the control of all the kanakas has [sic - who] planted this loko with the poalima labor of the land. When Hiona held this loko he cultivated it with his own labor, not with the poalima days. He got the loko when Kinau was sick before her death. After him, Kahiole held this loko, but I do not know certainly whether he planted it himself or with the poalima labor. He was Luna of "Kahookane."
