I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles, that I have a claim in the `ili of Apahekili in the Ahupua`a of Manowai[Manawai]. I only have a lo`i - there is no kula. The length of the lo`i on the makai side adjoining the po'alima pond is 25 fathoms - that is the south side. The east side is 3 ½, the mauka side is 22 fathoms.
This lo`i was received by me a very long time ago ....
