To the Commissioners, &c &c &c, Gentlemen:
I have to make a claim for land named Niu Kalawai, situated in the district of Palama, [?illegible] Honolulu. It is at present in the occupation of Mr. George Pelly, to whom I have leased it for a term of 7 years.
I also have a building lot in Lahaina, Maui, given to me ....

Lorrin Andrews, sworn by the Bible and stated, " I have seen this land just as Namauu has stated here, except that I have not known its boundaries. He has lived peacefully to the present time. The place has been enclosed, there are 3 houses and several trees and no one has ever opposed.
