F.R. 23v2

To the Commissioners, &c, &c, Gentlemen,
I have to make a claim for land named Nuikalawai, situated in the district of Palama, near Honolulu. It is at present in the occupation of Mr. George Pelly, to whom I have leased it for a term of 7 years.

I have also a building lot in Lahaina, Maui, given to me in 1836.

Those lands were given to me in perpetuity by his present Majesty, Kamehameha III, who was graciously pleased to employ me as his shoemaker.
Signed, W. Blossom Wilson

.... old road; Kanekua's place is toward the sea and Kikiau and Ulunahele's lots are on the Kaanapali side. Two grass huts and an adobe are there. I had heard in 1839 probably from the king about the acquiring of this place by Blorsam (Blossom). He lived peacefully to the present time; no one has ever objected to him."

Lorrin Andrews, sworn by the Bible and stated, "I have seen this land just as Namauu has stated here, except that I have not known its boundaries. He has lived peacefully to the present time. The place has been enclosed, there are 3 houses and several trees and no one has ever opposed."
