Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in the `ili in the Ahupua`a of Halawa on the Island of Molokai. The `ili on the makai side is Kaaula, for Mahu. Lalohana is the /`ili/ which is kula. I have occupied and cultivated this claim this claim for a very long time; it was given me by Paia, the konohiki of Kailio. Its length is 140 and its width is 38.
I request that if this claim is found valid it be awarded to me. The witness is Kameheu.
