Greetings to you, Kamehameha III: This paper tells of my occupations of these ilis of Hopeolaa mua, and half of Puaka, in the Ahupuaa of Halawa. You were the one who gave the Ahupuaa to Kaihe, and my ili of Hopeolaa mua was from Kaihe. Also, Kaihe gave Puaka to Puleino, and I got my one-half from Puleino. I have occupied them for a total of 14 years without dispute.
