Claim for land and house. To the Land Commissionerss I hereby state my claim for lands I have 10 lo'i and 1 house lot in the 'ili of Kaaleo in the Ahupua'a of Honolulu, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the mo'o of Kahana, on the east by the lot of Judd, on the west by the government road to Alewa.

Ewa, land of Kekuanaoa.
He had received these sections of land from Kinimaka in 1837 and he has lived there comfortably to the present time. No one has objected. The bequest was for his wife at his death and it was she who conveyed it to J.W.E. Maikai and it has been thus to the present time.
