Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a land in the Ahupua`a of Makanalua, Island of Molokai. I have a mo`o in the `ili of Waihanau, as far as the pali of Kalawao. Its width is 9 chains. It is bounded on the mauka side by Keaalii and on the makai side by Puaakaa. I received the land as follows: When Makaluha was the konohiki at Makanalua, the land was occupied by Huli, my makuahine. Pelekunu by Kanakaoka's land

Claimant inherited this house lot from her father, who held it before the year 1839. She has always enjoyed it without interruption.
