Z. Kaauwai says he remembers the claim of Ladana to have been handed to Mr. Richards. Upon this, the commission resolved to hear it.
Kekualele, sworn, I know the lands of the claimant. They are in "Kopili" Lahaina. They consist of 2 pieces, one a house lot and the other a section of kalo land. Z. Kaauwai, sworn, he has seen Ladana's lot at Lapakea, Lahaina. Kaauwai has heard John Young had given this interest to Ladana in 1842. Ladana is living there to this 16th day of June. No one has objected.
