Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state to you my land claim at Kahano, upper Waipio, Hamakua, Hawaii. There is 1 house lot, 60 fathoms long by 20 wide, 20 loi`, 2 mala of wauke, 1 of sugar cane, 16 hala trees of the mat-making variety, and 1 kula is there. 13 lo`i are at Pakeekee, in our land, and 1 mala of wauke and the mala of bananas, one side of which is for kalo. 7 ....
