To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands: I, G. P. Koekoe, am the claimant of the 'Ilis Makalohe and Puko in the Ahupua'a of Hauula. The boundaries are: on the north, Hina's land, on the east is for Keoho, on the south is the pali olona, on the west are Kaneumi's and Kahanaumaikai's lands. This land claim goes from the lo'is to the kula. It was bequeathed to me by my kupunas.
House lot claim is bounded on the north by a seashore, on the east by a stream, on the south by the lo'i ko'eles of Kamoiliili, on the west is for Kamolliili.
Claim for lo`i land 2, bounded on the north by Haehae's land, on the east is for Kaia, on the south is for Waiauia, on the west is Keawe's land. ....

Waialee, Olelo Hoike a ka Lunaauhau
Ke hoi maopopo aku nei au imua o oukou na luna hoona kuleana aiana, no ko`u hooponopono ana i na mea i hoopilikea ia e ke konohiki, no ko lakou mau kuleana ponoi ma Waialee. Ua hewa ke konohiki ma ia hana aua; no kona lawe ana i ke kuleana o kakana, ua pono no na mea kuleana. Pela ko`u manao i ka lohe ana i ka lakou mau olelo, a ua hooholo no au pela, ua pono no na kanaka, ua hewa ke konohiki.
