To the Land Commissioners, Respectful Greetings: I, Kaopulupulu, hereby state my claim for land and house lot, at Kawaewaa.
A land claim at Waikalai is bounded on the north by the road, on the east and south by Wahinehune's land, on the west by Pelapela's land.
In another place, at Pahoa, is a small planting of sweet pota-toes, adjoining that of Wahinehune, another place is at Okala, adjoining Maloiki's, and yet another place is at Kawaewaa. It is bounded on the north ....

His claim is good & is surveyed but, altho' often requested he has never come to furnish testimony to his claim, nor yet to abandon it.
I might perhaps get more information in respect to two or three persons, by keeping this and spending a day's time in hunting up the other persons, but I cannot well spare the time, and I do not think that they will ever wish to hear from the claims again.
