To the Honorable Land Commissioners, with Greetings to you: I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you my claim for land at Kaniukukahi, Kaw/ailoa/ kai. There are nine lo`i, bounded on the north by a stream, on the east by Kanakapuka, on the south by a pali, on the west by Kolikoli's land. Three lo`i are at Koheo and my house lot is entered with them. The boundaries are: on the north, a muliwai, on the east, Anahulu, on the south, Naahuelua&a ....

Apanas 1 and 2 were from Laanui in the time of Winau, and are undisputed. Apana 3 was from Naehuelua and Laanui in the time before Kinau and is undisputed.
