I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my claim to the Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles. I have an `ili, named Haumea, in the Ahupua`a of Kapualei, Island of Molokai, with some taro lo`i and also a kula.
Here is the length of the lo`is and the diagram also, which shows the lengths of all the sides. The lands which bound the lo`is in diagram are Keawaula on one side and Haleohua on one side. The `ilis which adjoin my kula land are Haleopua on one side, and Kawaipapa on one side, since there are two land areas, a lo`i land and a kula land. Those are the `ilis which adjoin the sides of my `ili. This claim was received from our makuas, and they are all dead and I have inherited the land. When we received it from the first konohiki until the present, it has been 16 years or more. That is my claim, which is stated to you, the Commission ....
