Greetings to the Land Commissioners: Concerning the petition for rights: I have rights to:
4 taro patches at Waikani
11 taro patches at Umieu
11 taro patches at Halaula
1 moo, unirrigated
1 taro patch at Kaluaiki
2 taro patches at Kamamao
1 kula at Kumuwiliwili
Some taro patches are at Puhiawaawa and some acres are there (kula). My makuakane got these from various people, and Armstrong spoke to Nailiili for a lot for me and I bought a lot from Kauhapa. I have had the taro patches and the kulas for a long time and no one has objected.

.... er me, and no one had objected to him.
Kaupa, sworn by the Bible, Napela has 12 patches at Umieu which he had received (this land) from Hawaii. Hawaii had received (this land) from Kauakahi who was a moo ruler. I have not heard that the konohiki has chided Hawaii or Napela. There were some dry patches at Kahawai.
Kawelohea, sworn by the Word of God, Napela has patches at Kamanao and at Kumuwiliwili. (It is) not for Napela but for Hawaiiwahine patch at Kumuwiliwili and two at Kamamao, but living is under my control for I am a Konohiki for these lands; therefore, I can give as I desire and my landlord will not reprove me for having done so. There has been objections for the patches at Kumuwiliwili with the exception of the field.
