The Land Commissioners, greetings to you all: I hereby state my claim for land. I, Kapaehaa, a Hawaiian subject living at Kapalawai, island of Kauai /have land measuring/ 67 fathoms on the south side, 67 fathoms on the north side, 100 fathoms on the west, and 114 fathoms on the east, and the house lot and a kula. Those are my claims.
