The Land Commissioners, greetings: I hereby state my claim. I, Kanohokou, a Hawaiian subject living at Waipa, island of Kauai, have seven lo`i, which are scattered, and a kula in another place, and a house lot in another place.

During the time of Kaahumanu, Kanohokou, received these lands from the Konohiki, there is no objections.
Kaukana, sworn, I knew the land of Kanohokou well, during the time of Kaahumanu. Our knowledge is alike. There is no doubt about this claim.
