N.R. 128v2
Kahikona's houselots at Puako and Waianae were obtained from Kekauonohi, my beloved friend. In the year 1828 I got a parcel of land from Haehae at Waianae nui. It was combined into one lot. It was gotten on February 6. I very much want to have the benefits and am having the lot measured, hence my petition.

.... s reign and he lived there continuously until his death.
Kahoinea, sworn, I have known that this place had been from Nakaikuaana and he received this place from Hoapili during Liholiho's reign and he lived there until his death.
Kahikona's is the own daughter, Mohihio, the wife of Nakaikuaana. It is my feeling that this place is for my son under W.C. Lunalilo.
J. Kapena, sworn, upon the death of Mrs. Hoapili in 1841, M. Kekauluohi, her heir, called all persons for a declaration of property in their possession and Nakaikuaana was one of them who had come. He told of the lands which were with him and of the houses Hoapili had given him in Pakala and he was to live with the King for life. I have written about other things which may be found in M. Kekauluohi's book.
