Royal Patent, Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land titles have by their decision awarded unto Robert Kilday, a British subject, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas Robert Boyd, an Hawaiian subject, has by the express written renunciation of said claimant, become entitled to commute for the fee simple said land, pursuant to Section 10th, Article 4th, Chapter 7th of First Part of the Act to Organize the Executive Departments,
Therefore, Kamehameha, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given Absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto the said Robert Boyd, his faithfully & loyally disposed [illegible] for the consideration of Four Hundred & Thirty-three $433 Dollars paid unto the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of land situate at Nuuanu Valley in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
