.... u at the time of Kinau. No one had objected to him earlier, but in December of 1849 one of his (Kekua) patches was taken by the konohiki. It was taken away because Maluihi had been a witness for Maluihi? in the court of the tax assessor. This was done when Maluihi came to live on the land. Kekua has brought this complaint to the land commissioners, who will make a settlement on this single patch.

Peka, sworn, he has known in the same way as Maluihi.
