To the Land Commissioners, Greetings to you all: I hereby state my claim for land in the 'ili of Kaukini, Ahupua'a of Maikau*, District 6, Division 2, Island of Oahu. There are three taro lo'i, two weed grown lo'i; also, adjoining the 'ili of Kuikuilolo are adjoining the 'ili of Mauinoni is one mala of 'awa. It is a true right from the konohiki, in the time of Kameha ....
