Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners:I, S. Golia, whose name is below, hereby petition you for my land claim which consists of 20 lo'i and 2 potato mo'o.
In this land of mine is one planted lauhala tree which stands close to the lo'is. It is surrounded by a stone wall. I also have some other clumps of lauhala, not within this lot - there are 2 clumps of lauhala on the bank of the lo'i.
I have a house which stands on the edge of my land; however the place where this house stands is not my own although it is close to my land. That is my claim for which I petition.
I inherited this land as follows:Makaiwi was the name of my wahine, and Pikanele was the name of the lord of the land. He committed a fault and the land was placed in char ....

Naopeope, sworn, He has seen 2 sections at the ili land of Makenewa and 1 section at Ukumehame. Land was from Golia's wife in 1843. Pikanele had given it in 1835, no objections.
