Hear ye, ye land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land in Pauwela. There are two areas, Kaohe is one and Wailana is the second. The right of occupancy of my land areas was from Kalola, and has been from Kamehameha I through Kamehameha III, through my kupunas and makuas. There are some steep paoo /second growth sweet potatoes/ plantings ....
