Mataio Kenui, the Luna Auhau of Kahakuloa, sworn, I sent in Kahoa's claim with that of sixty-nine others in one paper on the 28th of January 1848. They were all Kahakuloa claims and as they do not appear, the paper must have been miscarried.
I know Kahoa's land. It is in three pieces in Kahakuloa.
No. 1 is a house lot in Kakapa.
No. 2 is a kalo land in Kakapa.
No. 3 is a kalo land in Paha.
The claimant received them form his parents in the days of Kamehameha II. His title is not disputed but there [is] one poalima loi in the piece No. 2.
