Greetings to the Land Commissioners: Here is my thought to you - I petition you for my lots. I have three lots; two are at the seashore and one is mauka. That is my petition.

Kupaka, sworn, He has seen in the ili land at Papala 2, are two one the Makai side here, totaling five ili's in the Keauhou ahupuaa.

Section 4 - House section at Kailu ahupuaa, the boundaries are:
Mauka by Kaiaino's lot
Ka`u by Pali's lot
Makai by Lanai's lot
Kohala by Kanu's lot.
Laioha had enclosed the lot, 3 houses 2 - for Laioha, 1 for Kapae.
Kapae had house interest only, the lot had been for Laioha. Laioha died in 1848, this land was bequested to Kaneoha, no one had objected.
Kaihe, sworn, Both he and Kupaka have known in the same way.
