From the time of Kamehameha I, to Kuhuluku, and from Alapai and from Nakoana, and from Kailinaoa, and from Opunui to Koali, and to me. /The ones/ above were dispossessed, /the one/ below stayed. It is a true right from ancient times, until this day on which it is written.
