Greetings to the Honorable Commissioners: I hereby state my house lot claim which is my own, made by Kaelemanu with his own hands, not made by po`aha labor, nor the people of the land - it was my makuakane who made it with his own hands. (See the diagram in the original letter). That is my statement to you - it is not erroneous.

Lot is enclosed, land had been for Kalemanu's father of Kalaikuaiwa. 1 coconut grove, several Kou, a palm tree, a pandanus tree and a house lot in that lot.
Kalaikuaiwa is the heir of Kaelemanu, his father in 1844, no one has objected to him.
Keohokuma, sworn, Both have known in the same way.
