.... loi is a large one "Mauka"
Mauka by Kaehunui's
Olowalu by pali
Makai by my loi
Kaanapali by kula (waste).
Nalehu, sworn, I know these lands of claimant. Muaa's testimony is all correct. But claimant has a dwelling place in a large enclosed yard in Waiokane, Lahaina, and owns two ridges of kula within which his house stands. He had it from me. I had it from Maele, and Maele had it from Kanemaikou. Upai got it from me in 1856 and I had it from Maele in 1839. Upai's title has never been disputed.
Lot is the high Landlord's of this part.
Mauka is road from Dr. Baldwin's Meeting house to Olewalu
Olewalu & Makai by my yard
Kaanapali by Hooholo's yard.
