Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim for land in the Ahupua'a of Kaluaaha on the Island of Molokai. I have a house lot whose length is 33 /?/ and whose width is 22. I received it from Kapa, in 1847 /and have had it/ until this day.

Here is my claim for a lo'i, 16 /?/ by 12. This is in Namoo, the ku of Kaluaaha. The place I cultivate is in Kuaipopo; its length is 44 /?/, its width is 22. This is within Hakamanu, an 'ili of Kaluaaha. Since I have forgotten to give the bounds of my lo'i therefore I will state them: Pulehu's lo'i is below /downwind/, Petero's land is to the eastward, Makaihuia's land is on the makai side, and a stream is on one side.
